Distant Web Contests

From time to time, Distant Web will hold various contests for Web Site Services. Please check back often for more details.

Distant Web is currently holding a contest sponsored by Scrub Radio!

One lucky person will receive a free Web Site Service provided by Distant Web! For your chance to win, be sure to listen to Scrub Radio. Selected DJs will be giving away "Contest Codes" (at their discretion) which will be used in a raffle like fashion to select the winner.

Each participating DJ will give away 5 contest codes to be submitted by the recipient for this raffle on the contest page of Distant Web.

On January 3rd, 2008 sometime between 11:00 PM and Midnight EST, one entry will be selected and the winner will be contacted via Email, as well as announced at Distant Web and on Scrub Radio LIVE.

Grand Prize

One free web site service. Services can include a full web site (limit 5 different pages), upgrade or enhancement for an existing site, or a script installation/custom script.

Contest Terms

• Each Contest Code can only be redeemed once.
• You MUST provide a valid email address. The winner will be contacted via Email and must respond to this Email to claim his/her prize.
• The information collected on the Contest Form will be used for this contest only. No information will be used for any other purpose.
• This prize is non transferable. Only the winner selected will be eligible for this Web Site Service.
• Flash, Java (not to be confused with Javascript) or other similar applets may be used, but will not be written by Distant Web.
• Web Hosting, Domain Registration and any 3rd party licenses must be provided by the winner.
• If the winner cannot provide a domain or web host, a free web host will be used.
• 3rd party scripts can include (but are not limited to) forums, guestbooks and photo galleries. Any 3rd party script requested for installation must be purchased by the winner prior to installation if a free version is not available.
• The winner must keep a visible link to Distant Web on any pages created or modified by Distant Web at all times, for as long as the work provided by Distant Web is in use.
• The winner must also adhere to all applicable Distant Web Terms Of Service.
• This contest is not open to Scrub Radio staff.
• Void where prohibited (I think I just have to throw that in there, don't I?).
